Fork, Commit, Merge - Easy Issue (Flutter)
Create a Simple Flutter Mobile App
Note: You don't have ask permission to start solving the issue or get assigned, since these issues are supposed to be always open for new contributors. The actions-user bot will reset the file back to previous state for the next contributor after your commit is merged. So you can just simply start working with the issue right away!
Description
The goal of this task is to create a simple Flutter mobile app to show text "Fork, Commit, Merge" in the AppBar, and text "Hello, Flutter!" in the body.
- You should add a AppBar inside of the Scaffold, which will show text "Fork, Commit, Merge".
- Also you need to add Text-widget with a text "Hello, Flutter!" into the body of the Scaffold.
How to get started
Open the tasks/flutter/easy/hello_flutter directory from the root of your project.
Run flutter pub get to get all the necessary dependencies.
Then open lib/main.dart file and start implementing your solution!
If you have some problems with the dependencies, you can also create your own hello_flutter app by pressing CTRL+SHIFT+P in VS Code and selecting Flutter: New Project. Then follow the instructions and modify the lib/main.dart file in that project as requested in the description.
Running the app
You can run the app several ways:
- As a Windows/MacOS/Linux app
- In Google Chrome
- In Android/iOS virtual emulator
- In actual Android/iOS device such as mobile phone or tablet
In VS Code, you can select from the bottom of the screen how you will run the app.
Then, make sure you are in the correct directory with this command in Terminal:
cd tasks/flutter/easy/hello_flutterAfter that you can run the app either pressing F5 or with the command flutter run.
If you see the text "Fork, Commit, Merge" in the AppBar on the top, and text "Hello, Flutter!" in the body, you are ready to make a pull request!
