Calculate And Display The Average Of All The Positive Numbers Entered
Note: You don't have ask permission to start solving the issue or get assigned, since these issues are supposed to be always open for new contributors. Navigate to the tasks/pascal/medium directory from the root of your project.
Then open a file called AverageCalculator.pas.
Description
Create a simple Pascal program that reads a sequence of numbers from the user until a negative number is entered. Then, calculate and display the average of all the positive numbers entered.
Instructions:
- Read integers from the user one at a time.
- Keep a running total and a count of the numbers entered.
- Stop reading numbers when the user enters a negative integer.
- Calculate and display the average of the numbers entered (ignoring the negative number used to stop the loop).
Acceptance Criteria:
- The program should compile and run without errors.
- The program should read integers until a negative integer is entered.
- The program should then display the average of the entered numbers.
How to Run:
To test the program you have to first make sure you are in the right directory:
cd tasks/pascal/medium/Then you have to compile the program:
fpc AverageCalculator.pasAfter compiling you can run the program with the command:
./AverageCalculatorIf the program works as requested in the task, you are ready to make a pull request!
To work with this issue, you need to have Pascal installed to your local machine.
