PURPOSE

auru is a simple shell script for keeping AUR packages up-to-date on Arch Linux. You can use this tool instead of making manually the pull of the git repositories of the AUR packages.

Features

• Install and download a new AUR package
• Remove installed AUR packages
• Check and install new updates for AUR packages
• Build already downloaded AUR packages
• List all installed AUR packages

MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS

Supported OS

• Arch Linux
• Linux distributions based on Arch Linux

Dependencies

• git

INSTALLATION

We can install auru simply by doing:

$ git clone https://github.com/nicolas-carolo/auru
$ cd auru
$ chmod +x install.sh
$ sudo ./install.sh

USAGE

For a list of all commands you can run

$ auru -h

and for the relative functionalities run:

$ man auru
