Is your feature request related to a problem? Please describe.
We've had a lot of changes go in since we did the 1.0 release, so now I think we should draw a line for 1.1 which will then position us for the future additions (such as Automation API).

Once #164 is merged I would like to tag the base as 1.1; if there is anything else we want in this release let's chat.

Redoing this for the v1.0.1 release, with v1.1 being the automation API work.
