Inaccurate data

What steps will reproduce the problem?
1. capture > 500 bytes with some of the windows api functions like
CryptHashData
What is the expected output? What do you see instead?
actual data passed to the function
nearly the correct data but with a couple of null bytes replacing some of
the correct ones
What version of the product are you using? On what operating system?
latest, XP
