Cards widget for index page

I think it would be interesting to have a widget with which you can add information cards (with for example recommendations, or services you offer).

Some examples to illustrate this idea:

I'm not too experienced with developing hugo theme's myself, but I'm going to give this a try. I'm adding this issue here to share the idea :)
