new / changed examples and exercises

Chapter 2 is the first place where I am making some fairly significant changes to the examples #63. I also added some exercises. This means that new screenshots will need to be generated and examples/exercises will need to be renumbered. I'm not sure how to best track this so just opening a general issue to start. I'm just numbering things 2.x etc. for now figuring we can go back and update everything later.
New forces w/ friction example!
