Different SSID in the app and the phone

Hello,
My android phone is on a different ssid compared with the wink hub. The router/network is the same though. The phone is on a 5ghz spectrum while the wink is on a 2ghz spectrum.
Unfortunately, the blink couldn't connect to the wink hub. However when I connected the phone on the same ssid as the hub it worked fine.

Hey, try setting the SSID in blink to the one your phone connects to. The whole reason for putting the SSID in the app is so it knows what network the phone should be able to reach the hub on. As long as the hub is reachable when the phone is on the specified SSID, that should work. If not something else could be going on.

Ok, it does work now after setting the phone's SSID in the app.

Ok, it does act very funny sometimes. I definitely see the issue which i reported.

Can understanding the reasoning as well, but in a network with multiple SSIDs, depending on the proximity, the application allows the entry of only one SSID, and if we're connected to another, it doesn't work.
Perhaps allowing multiple SSIDs, is the solution, or the ability to turn off the SSID check.

Thanks for a very nice app by the way.
