23 years ago, on November 17th 1996, CSS 1 was born. At that moment, could the happy parents of the styling language think that they just gave birth to a technology that will divide developers and destroy the kingdom of World Wide Web in the years to follow ; for there are many pretenders out there, wanting nothing else but to be the one method to sit on the throne of styling : UI kits, micro-frameworks, pre-processors, post-processors, BEM/ITCSS/OOCSS writing methodologies, CSS Modules, functional CSS, CSS-in-JS... Let's take a look at these tools and how they're used today, in 2019, and see if by the end of this talk, your allegiance will change...
