Forecast
This repo contains a semi-randomly evolving app for doing weather forecasts. The main aim is to do some concrete work with different Clojure APIs in order to learn some more of it.
As such, it’s not meant to be really usable, but rather a meaningful and minimalistic playground for me. Should it ever become actually useful, you’re welcome to use it :)
As of now, there’s just a few functions to play with in the REPL. The plans include the creation of a REST API, and further down the line, the addition of a clojurescript app for displaying the forecast data in a nice way.
Note on API keys
Since I’m not keen on getting my own API keys on github, I’ve .gitignore‘d
the keys.clj file (which is required for this to work at all). The file
requires (so far) API keys for google maps, flickr, and darksky.net. The
keys.clj file should contain the following.
