What's with this error?

Unregistered MX domain was detected! [REDACTED] MX inbound-smtp.us-east-1.amazonaws.com.
As we know that inbound-smtp.us-east-1.amazonaws.com is not vulnerable, attacker still needs to set TXT record in order to verify the ownership of the domain.
