SoundManager crashes FireFox sometimes

On a high-volume keyword such as "lol" where many musical notes are played, FireFox crashes after a while. This appears to be caused by SoundManager as FireFox does not crash when music is not played.
(Try using a different way of playing notes - alternative to SoundManager?)
Tried using HTML5 audio without SoundManager, but FireFox still crashed. It seems that the issue is to do with FireFox HTML5 audio support. Maybe force Flash mode in SoundManager when on FireFox?
FireFox does not crash when Flash mode is enabled, however each individual note can only be played once at a time with no overlapping, so each individual sound (note) objects should not be reused.
Caveat: there is a long 1-2 second delay to start playing a note with Flash mode, so the notes lag behind the tweets.
