Getting error when compiling

Hi,
I'm getting "bash: ./configure: No such file or directory" error after cloning repo.
Why I'm getting this?
The configure script is autogenerated, you need to have autoconf and automake installed and run ./autogen.sh. Alternatively, download a release tarball that includes the pregenerated scripts.
