Obsidian Plugin to display the Kanji of the day

Obsidian Kanji of the Day Plugin

This is a for Obsidian (https://obsidian.md).

This application provides a way to display a Kanji each day and manage the list. You can use this to display any information you like - you have three fields to use.

Install

• work in progress - use BRAT for now

Usage

1. From the command prompt run Kanji Plugin: Open Kanji Tab

• This opens the app - you will see an icon, likely in the right panel
• Drag the plugin wherever you like

2. From the command prompt run Kanji Plugin: Load another Kanji

• This will refresh the display with another random Kanji

Settings

• Edit the list of Kanji, furigana, meaning
• Clicking the - will remove a row
• Clicking the + will add a row
• Change the colors - at the moment you will have to execute the Kanji PLugin: Load another Kanji in order to see the colors change

Upcoming Features

• Import list from CSV file allowing for append or replace
• Export list to CSV
• Clear all values
• Make colors update as soon as you change them in the settings

• Copy over main.js, styles.css, manifest.json to your vault VaultFolder/.obsidian/plugins/obsidian-kanji/.
