Why use rgba()?

All alpha values are set to 1 so what's the point of using rgba()?
@Justineo thanks for asking. A couple reasons. I want to be able to set the opacity differently so this is a good base. Future versions of this module might include some different opacity values. That being said - I should support a hex fallback for ie6-8. I'll make a patch for that. Thanks for the reminder.
