it will be helpful to start to have something that I can launch from the CLI and actually use with persistent storage. I can still write tests as functionality builds out but I want to see how things feel as one piece. Will be helpful for setting priorities.
Making decent progress on this... Maybe in another month or so it will be functioning about as well as any other interface I could be using.
