"Could not connect" error when logging in with yahoo.com address

I've had a user email me telling me that he can't login. His email address is XXX@yahoo.com. Here's the error he's getting:
Could Not Connect
Description: Could not connect to the server "real.open.login.yahooapis.com".
I don't have a Yahoo address so I haven't reproduced it. Can somebody take a look?
I can login ok with an @yahoo.com email address. In the course of doing so, my browser does not ever speak with the DNS address real.open.login.yahooapis.com.
My user reports that he's able to login now. Perhaps it was a temporary issue on Yahoo's end? I'm considering this resolved.

Looks like things are back to normal; I am able to login with my yahoo account. Maybe the service was down temporarily?
Here is how I encountered the issue:
- go to letscodejavascript.com
- click on login
- persona dialog comes up
- enter my email XXX@yahoo.com and hit enter
- Error message that I sent over earlier.
