Hello, I get a mistake, when I use the iOS Device to add the PC,
Here are the problems I encountered and the steps I took to solve them:
when I choose add the host 116.211.86.170, I get the error tips**'Moonlight only supports adding PCs on local network on iOS/tvOS'**
I read this issue #417 (comment), modify the host to [::ffff:116.211.86.170] but Still got the error.😭
@cgutman tell me, if I use the other custom Port, I should modify the host to [::ffff:116.211.86.170]:my custom port, I took his advice, add the finally host [::ffff:116.211.86.170]:36012, Happily, I managed to add my PC!😋😋😋
When I selected the added device to connect to, the APP had a pop-up window that asked me to enter my PIN. At this point, I entered this PIN on my PC, but I got this prompt The Request time out

At first, I suspected that there was a problem with the custom port on my computer, but when I used the network tool to test it, the results showed that the port was accessible.
I have this issue as well, tried using both GeForce Experience Gamestream and Sunshine, no matter how many times I try, I connect from AppleTV, then enter the PIN on my PC, and I get a time out error every time. Ports are open, and I'm entering the PIN in as timely a fashion as possible. It's all on a local network, so that's not an issue either.

I have solved the problem, you can use [::ffff:you ip address]to add your PC
That's apparently not the issue. I tried entering what you suggested, but it did the same thing.
Before this, my PC already showed up in the connect list in Moonlight, and I can connect to it. When I request to pair, the PIN is displayed on my AppleTV, Gamestream pops up a PIN window on my PC. I enter the PIN in in the Gamestream window on my PC, but then I get a timeout error.
I deleted and reinstalled Moonlight just to double check, and entered the code you suggested to add the PC. All that did was refresh the visibility of my PC in Moonlight, but I still have the pairing time out issue.
In my experience, the problem that causes the timeout is usually due to a problem with the port.
