If you attempt to create a key for a domain with a hyphen in it (-) then it will be rejected:

$ ssh-manage create user@some-domain.co.uk
-----------------------------------------
  Multi SSH Key Manager v1.5.3
-----------------------------------------

ERROR: Please specify a username
