overlays are a set of overlays that work with nixpkgs. The purpose of this story is to enable overlays that only apply to this nur repo. The problem with using overlays for nixpkgs from this repo is they require that the packages in this repo be added to nixpkgs first. The overlays do not work when packages from this repo are declared from the nur namespace.
