Query Block items don't appear in TOC

The new WP QUery block (at least new to me, I didn't know about it until today) works OK in PMB, except its items aren't included in PMB's TOC in PDFs and ePubs. I suppose they should? (People could use this to get around the nesting limit, oh well.)
Or maybe they're just part of the post's content, and so folks will expect them to be ignored by the TOC...
One user reported they expected them to be added to the TOC, but it seems pretty tough...
