Options/Diplomacy In Game Crashes

Not sure where to get log outputs, but when I start a game and go to options the graphics freeze up (the game itself and the cnc client are still running) but nothing updates.
Same here, when I press Esc, the graphics freeze, system cursor appears and there's no way to get back. I have to kill the process and reset original resolution.
