can't make channels work locally :(

Hello,
After downloading a test project from Django Builder, I followed https://channels.readthedocs.io/en/latest/tutorial to finalize testing the channels function, but I can't make it work.
Is there a page to understand how to run channels with the downloaded app?
Or does someone make it work with channels 4.1.0?
