Files with quotation marks (") in the name can't be added to Playlist

Shotcut version: 24.06.26
Operating System: Fedora Linux 40 (Workstation Edition)
When clicking and dragging or using the "Add files to playlist" button, file names with quotation marks (") in the name won't appear. To test this, you can create a new project and attempt to add the file I've included in this bug report called 'Falafel "Copy".png'. The playlist doesn't show the file when using either method.
