Add Mute Button to Mixxx Playback

Feature Description

So I am using the auto dj and broadcasting on Caster…I want to mute the sound coming from Mixxx but not change the sound coming out of Caster so I can listen to a song on youtube to know if I wanna download it or not. Once I am done listening to the youtube song, Then I wanna unmute the sound coming from mixxx so i can hear the broadcasting. At the moment I have to go through windows to mute mixxx, i think it would be great to just have a mute button on mixxx to hear or not hear what is playing.

A workaround, in case you currently don't use the headphones output in Mixxx:

• in Preferences -> Sound Hardware -> Outouts -> Headphone:
  select the soundcard + channels you previously configured for your speakers output
• clear the Main output (select "---")
• Apply

Now the Headphone gain and Headphone mix knobs control the speaker volume.

• "Headphone Mix" knob fully right = main mix only
• "Headphone Mix" knob fully left = Pfl sources only

So to "mute" Mixxx on your speakers, turn down the Headphone gain in Mixxx, or set "Headphone Mix" knob fully left.
