Would love to see support for the pocket casts desktop app
After discovering that Pocket Casts Desktop has been updated to natively work with media keys, further troubleshooting revealed I had an old, unused application that was swallowing my media key inputs (Karabiner). After uninstalling that app and rebooting, media keys worked natively. Closing this issue, as there's no point in re-inventing the wheel for this.
