System.Management.Automation.ActionPreferenceStopException: The running command stopped because the preference variable "ErrorActionPreference" or common parameter is set to Stop: Connecting to remote server localhost failed with the following error message : The client cannot connect to the destination specified in the request. I can't reproduce this issue. Run this in PowerShell as an administrator and try again:
winrm quickconfig
Enable-PSRemoting -Force
Btw, I'm doing a re-write in Python so this issue will go away in a couple months. This project has slowed due to a job change and the COVID-19 situation.
I can't reproduce.
After downloading an older release(2nd latest), the error no longer showed up
I have the same issue
i got same problem,commenting part of this code make works everything again.I guess we need other way to check windows updates
install-packageprovider -name NuGet -force
install-script -name Test-PendingReboot -force
if( (Test-PendingReboot.ps1 -computername localhost).isPendingReboot ) {
if( yes('A Windows Update reboot is pending. You need to reboot and rerun Tunic. Reboot now?') ) {
restart-computer
}
}
