I can't reproduce this issue. Run this in PowerShell as an administrator and try again:

winrm quickconfig
Enable-PSRemoting -Force

Btw, I'm doing a re-write in Python so this issue will go away in a couple months. This project has slowed due to a job change and the COVID-19 situation.

After downloading an older release(2nd latest), the error no longer showed up

i got same problem,commenting part of this code make works everything again.I guess we need other way to check windows updates
