Keyboard and Trackpad Not Working

First of all, thanks for this. I was already frustrated when I came across the t2 wiki that brought me here.
I have a macbook pro i5 2020, and I want to setup fedora on it. I have been able to boot the image by following the steps provided (i.e downloading the zips, combining them and creating the iso with dd).
The issue I have. however, is that the keyboard and trackpad don't work whenever I boot into the live image. I really want the keyboad and trackpad to work (I am sometimes on the move) because carrying an extra keyboard + mouse, is not really ideal for me.
My USB-C converter only have one USB-A port (with a HDMI and another USB-C port), so once I insert the boot flash, I can't plug in an external keyboard to install the OS. I wouldn't mind getting another converter, if (maybe) the built-in keyboard would work after installation?
