I don't use WSL, but I've heard people reporting this issue on Reddit.
I searched and found a detailed but very short video (only 40 seconds) on YouTube from April 2023 demonstrating and reporting this problem. The video has recent comments (from 3 months ago) reporting the same problem, so it doesn't seem fixed.
