This might be nixos specific
Could you please provide more information about when this issue occurs?
- Are you simply attempting to open a C++ file?
- Does the issue persist when all other extensions are disabled?
The issue was in that the interpreter for the cpptools* binaries was getting overridden by nixos's autoPatchelfHook
.
