Font Icons in experimental button should have correct size

Describe the feature that you would like added
The font icon takes up 3px more space vertically than it should. Is there a way to fix that?
Font icon button is 35px tall, while SVG icon button is 32px, aligned w/ redlines. It looks like the space above the icon is taller.
What component or utility would this be added to
