Type: Bug

Steps to reproduce.

  1. Query a table that has a column with a VARCHAR(MAX) column in Azure Data Studio.
  2. In the results, click on the VARCHAR(MAX) column value.
  • This opens a new tab to show the contents.
  1. "Loading selected rows for calculation" message appears and doesn't go away.
  2. I am no longer able to run any more queries. As if "Loading selected rows for calculation" is blocking my requests.
  3. I have to restart Azure Studio to fix it.
