Eraser erases drawing layer

When I use the eraser it "paints" white over the grid of the drawing layer. Disabling and enabling the drawing layer again doesn't fix the grid.
I would expect that the eraser only erases things drawn in the drawing mode and nothing else.
This has been corrected in the next version, which I will push in the next few days. Thanks for pointing it out.
