I see in the upcoming features that you're planning to support Mozilla Location Service, great news !
I hope that you would also add support to a similar project called OpenWLANMap:

Will be done, as well as support for wigle.net and maybe even others - there will be some UI to allow the user to select his favorite data sources.
Please consider also offline variant with local (compressed/indexed) OpenWLANMap data dump.
Are there good (and field tested) compressed data structures for this kind of information? If yes, then It would be useful to agree on a single data format to be used across projects.
OpenBmap is also an interesting source for GSM and Wifi data: http://openbmap.org
Just a reminder of sources & their data collection clients that I know of:
@timofonic we have UnifiedNlp for all network location stuff, this old app and repo are deprecated and should not be used anymore.
