Description

Replace SVG's in HTML img element with a PNG of the same path / file name. svgReplace.js's aim is to support browsers that do not support SVG in HTML img elements. Once all SVG unsupported browser are depreciated this project will be completed.

Browser Support

  • Internet Explorer 7
  • Internet Explorer 8
  • Android Browser 2.3.4

Installation Instructions

Requires

  • Modernizr (SVG Test)
  • jQuery 1.8.2+

Simply include the JavaScript file in your HTML page.

<script src="svgReplace.min.js"></script>

And create PNG files with the same name inside the same directory as your SVG's

Versioning

Where possible the versioning will follow the Semantic Versioning guidelines.

<major>.<minor>.<patch>
