Since I'm no artist, I'm thinking of something simple, say, black letters RST in a transparent background.

I think of the musical symbol for "rest".

Perhaps a "lazy R" (a ubiquitous cattle brand), where the R is rotated counterclockwise 90 degrees.

"View" is much harder to iconize, but there are Unicode pictographs that mean "see" or its synonyms, etc.
