First download the vlc-unity asset from videolabs.io.
To reproduce, create a new Unity project using HDRP or URP and add the vlc-unity asset.
The rendering texture is pink so the video does not play. Must having something to do with the material not being HDRP/URP friendly, and potentially the shader settings to be adjusted. I'm not sure.
