Emit a typing event to be used with autosave scripts?

Just wondering if this belongs in here. While it's easy enough to do on it's own, I imagine a lot of people trying to use this to emulate Medium will also use autosave.

I'm imagining something like an 'updated' event fired on every keystroke, throttled to emit every second or so during rapid typing.
