Issues with Bluetooth indicator

junocomp opened this issue · comments

In Juno 2, I've noticed when either indicator-application or wingpanel-indicator-ayatana is installed, the bluetooth icon will disappear for good if you do

killall wingpanel
I have a feeling the ayatana indicators are breaking the bluetooth icon somehow.

Same here on the stable release

EDIT: Bluetooth indicator appeared after I disabled fcitx tray icon

same here the Bluetooth icon is gone

Same issue here, @iKirby could you explain a bit more how you fixed it ?

@Darkheir I disabled fcitx tray icon through the configuration tool (I use fcitx for Chinese pinyin input). I don't think it's really a fix. But the Bluetooth indicator did appear after I disabled fcitx tray icon, and other tray icons like Telegram are still working well.
