I cannot get the example to work.
It just says "Error parsing document!"
The logged error to the console is "Error Parsing Document: [{ col = 9, contextStack = [], problem = Newline, row = 1 }]"

OK it works if I remove all the \r 's in the source.
So it's because I'm on Windows.
Could your code be amended to accommodate the Windows Eol?

I've done a fix, but it's based on your last release, which you changed a lot since.
So I'll wait for the next release and then have another look.
