the gui crashes immediately after opening.

As the title suggests, the gui crashes right after opening, although i can see that the process is still running in task manager. How do I solve this?
You say "crashes", but is it maybe the case that you just have "Start In Tray" checked? If so, find the program in your system tray (bottom right on the taskbar, next to the clock), and reopen it from there.
(You can alternately just go delete the config.txt to forcibly revert to default settings at any time)
You're right! I didn't understand what start-in tray meant.
