About

  • Shoppingify is a simple web app that enables users take their shopping list everywhere they go.

  • Users can add items to their list amidst many other things.

  • Users are also allowed to add new items, if they cant find ay of their favorite items.

  • Users can also view all the lists created and view statistics to check for your favorite items and category.

  • This application was built using Ruby and rails on the back end, JavaScript and React on the front end.

  • This project was built to complete one of the challenges on the dev challenges website.

Getting Started

To get a local copy up and running follow these simple example steps

  • From your terminal enter in sequence
    • git clone https://github.com/mckent05/shoppingify-frontend.git
  • Enter into the project directory using
    • cd shoppingify-frontend
  • Run the npm in your terminal using
    • npm start
  • Wait for he project to open on localhost:3000 or localhost:30001 if the backend server is aleady running
