Can't get appsec integration working

I have traefik and crowdsec installed as docker containers on my unraid server and can't seem to get the appsec integration working on the most recent release of the traefik crowdsec bouncer plugin. I've added the virtual patching collection to crowdsec, added the necessary lines to the acquis.yaml and added the CrowdsecAppsecEnabled: true to my plugin config. Yet when i try and trigger rules, it doesn't seem to be functioning. I think the issue is on the bouncer end since appsec shows as running on the crowdsec logs. Anything that I might be missing here? Thanks
Turns out it was functioning fine. I was just trying to trigger the rules straight from my server rather than through the pages reverse proxied by traefik
