2021 does anything work

Hi, anyone used this in the last 4 years? Seems to not work at all on recent version of Kodi. Is there a new project? Or, DRM changes made this defunct? Install of addon gives some error message and says check logs but no clue what log. Nothing in /var/log is touched.
