Terminal user input broken

- If the input field lost focus and the user is asked after for any input, it isn't possible to reenter the input. (
Ctrl+Cis working) - If the executed task asks for an input, the default input (Y) is not applied on pressing enter.
If exiting with Ctrl+C there are two ssh input fields available:
sudo apt full-upgrade isn't runnable at all.
