Potential ideas & suggestions on a redesigned user interface

Just a thread on ideas improving the user interface.
My approach:
A plus to the smaller header. The sidebar should also be minimizable to only show the icon without the text. In this case, the space for the actual output is much larger.
Maybe add a option to pin to the larger sidebar.
By pinning or I suggest a circled arrow in the middle of the split line for opening and closing.
