Frequent high CPU usage burst (2.8.1)

Every so-often Yippy 2.8.1 seems to kick into high-gear and require up to 99% CPU resources. This seems to only happen every 30-60 minutes, and the CPU usage will stay high for a couple seconds (maybe 20 seconds or so).

At this time I wasn’t particularly using Yippy, though it was of course open in the background.
Can I provide any logs?
