APM (AEM Permission Management) is an AEM based tool focused on streamlining the permission configuration. It provides a rich UX console tailored for administrators. They can write human readable scripts that handle user/group creation/deletion and permissions application, both in bulk. Through it's flexible grammar, exposed API, and high extensibility it vastly improves permission-based implementations.

How to start

To start using APM an AEM 6.1 or 6.2 version running on top of Java 7 is required.

The AEM package is available here. For the full installation details, please refer to the Installation Guide in the documentation.

How to use

Permission Management Tool is available on http://localhost:4502/etc/cqsm.html page.

How to create script

  1. Open console
    Console
  2. Write script using permission actions
  3. Check if your script passes validation
  4. Save
  5. Run script
