Doesn't work in private mode

This doesn't work for me copying a link in private mode. Let me know if I'm missing something (I didn't see any preferences).
Firefox 57.0.1
Mac 10.13.2
I now realize it is more complicated than just looking at my URL bar, so I am closing this, although I haven't done more rigorous testing.
