Web app vs app store app gallery selection

1st 2 pics are screenshots from the web app.
3rd pic is from the app store app.
When posting on the web app, we can select the media picker which takes us to all of our albums in the gallery.
We seem to have lost that ability with the app store app. Now it looks to take me to this cloud media app which I can't do anything with and can't access the gallery of albums on my phone.
Can you just make the app store app similar to the web app in this regard?
